Lake 1 is a mature 7.5-acre gravel pit, set within 15 acres of peaceful countryside and developed into a premium carp fishing venue for up to 6 anglers.

With depths ranging from 10–12ft, the lake remains highly fishable throughout the year, even during the height of summer. The layout has been carefully designed, with fishing from one bank only to ensure space, comfort and an undisturbed experience.

There are 2 spacious double swims and 4 well-positioned single swims, all purpose-built for comfort and practicality. A large central island provides a key feature and natural focal point within the lake.

Lake 1 is home to approximately 180 carp, including a stunning mix of commons and mirrors. Fish range from 20lb to over 68lb, with an impressive average weight of 36–37lb, offering anglers the chance of truly memorable captures.

To preserve the natural surroundings, vehicles are not permitted on the swim bank. Barrows are therefore required to transport equipment, with a maximum walk of approximately 80 yards. For convenience, barrows are available on site.

Open from April through to November, Lake 1 benefits from reduced fishing pressure, allowing the stock to thrive and ensuring consistent quality fishing throughout the season.
